The BRHC Foundation Gala dinner began in 1991 and has become one of the Foundation’s annual signature events, raising more than $872,000 since inception.
Over the years, the work of the Foundation’s Gala Committees has made a significant contribution to the provision of health care at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Proceeds have been used for the purchase of equipment such as monitors, scopes, beds, stretchers and much more. Gala 2018 proceeds in the amount of approximately $68,000 were used for the purchase of a several items including lead aprons, thermometers, a vein finder, fetal monitor, bladder scanner, pulse oximeter, and a Hover/Jack Matt (mobility device)! In 2019, proceeds of $78,652 were used for the purchase of two Portable RO systems and carts for Dialysis, a Qube Rover monitor with stand for ER, a phototherapy light for NICU, a blood fluid warmer for ICU and three thermometers for OCU.
The Foundation is grateful to everyone who supports this annual event.
